The Santa Rita Ranch is located in the territory of the municipality of Temax, about 70 km (43 mi) northeast of Mérida, the state capital of Yucatán. The location is advantageous in many ways. Temax, a picturesque village with colonial roots, is only two kilometers (1.2 mi) away, allowing for easy access to all daily necessities.
Within a radius of only 35 kilometers (22 mi), there are tourist highlights such as the most important Pueblo Mágico of Yucatán Izamal, as well as the town of Motul, famous for its “Huevos Motuleños”. Relaxation and a maritime lifestyle can also be found only about 30 km (19 mi) from the ranch’s location on the white sandy beaches of the idyllic fishing village of Dzilam de Bravo on the Gulf of Mexico. Here, life follows a particularly relaxed rhythm.
Via Carretera 176, a modern four-lane highway, northern Mérida can be reached comfortably by car in about 45 minutes. The prosperous capital of the Yucatan offers the comfort and interesting, lively lifestyle of a modern city.
