DESCRIPTION

The Yucatan Peninsula is truly a beautiful place. Nature is not stingy with its charms here. The hacienda comprises a total of five houses. The three houses in the central living area each have large terraces with filigree roof structures made of sapote hardwood and original French roof shingles. The main house in the center of the living area includes a large living room, dining room, an open plan kitchen with a breakfast bar, and a laundry room. The roof of the main house is suitable for the expansion of a large roof terrace.

The large terrace leads to the living and sleeping area, consisting of two guest houses, which gather around a large open terrace with an old well and a beautiful pool (7 x 3 m) with a fountain. Both guest houses each have a large bathroom with a dressing area. Only the layout of the rooms is different. While one house is equipped with a large, combined living room and bedroom, the other house has two separate rooms, one of which is currently used as an office.

In the front area of ​​the property, near the entrance, there are two more houses. The floor plan of the first house features two bedrooms and a full bathroom. LOCATION

Hacienda Masul is located in a quiet, idyllic surroundings southwest of Mérida in the municipality of Umán. It can be easily reached via a well-maintained access road, next to which the new power line also runs. Umán itself is one of a total of 106 municipalities in Yucatan and, as a small town, already offers all the amenities to satisfy the needs of daily life.  The main architectural attraction, as in many towns in Mexico, is the impressive church in the well-kept center of town.

The center of Mérida can be easily reached by car in about 40 minutes via the Carretera Costera del Golfo (MEX 180), a modern four-lane highway. Mérida’s International Airport is even closer to the property at approximately 30 minutes by car. The prosperous capital of Yucatan offers the comforts and interesting, lively lifestyle of a modern metropolis. Visit the impressive historic center, dine at fine restaurants, stroll Paseo Montejo, Mérida’s famous boulevard, enjoy the numerous museums, theaters, and cinemas, delve deep into the Mayan culture, or simply go shopping at one of the large malls. In addition, many major North American retail chains such as Costco, Wal-Mart, or Home Depot, have at least one store here.

Also, very easy to reach from the property are the fantastic sandy beaches of Sisal and Celestun.
