LOCATION

While the park of San Sebastian offers numerous open air sport activities such as football, Zumba classes, fitness equipment and so forth, is the park of La Ermita the venue of numerous events during the year such as the Festival de las Ánimas.

The whole area around these two churches is well taken care of. Electric cables are laid underground, everything is clean and most of the houses are in great shape. Apart from that, are both neighborhoods full of history. Today’s Calle 66 for example, used to be the direct connection between Mérida and Campeche and the church of La Ermita was the place where merchants and other travelers prayed for a safe passage.
